I know it's been a while since I've blogged... Facebook has been keeping me distracted.. but I'll try to give more of my time to the blogging world.
A few weekends ago Ryan's parents came to stay with us. A huge highlight for 2009. We love spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Konold.
Here we are having dinner with some of the family.

The girls love, love, love all the attention Tim and Kathy give them. I wish we lived closer!
On Saturday we had a big BBQ at Cameron and Quinn's house in Springville.
They have the best backyard.
Quinn made a cool rope swing that goes over the river (Hobble Creek) And of course we all had to try it out. Super FUN!!! I was scared to death to see Izzy try it.. but she was fine.

Thanks for the fun weekend Tim and Kathy. Thank goodness it was nice weather for a change. I love when it starts getting warmer!

Ryan and I got a chance to get away last week! We went to stay with Ryan's sister Darice and her husband Darryl and their sweet family in Baltimore, Maryland!!! Thanks to my Mom and sister Lindsay we're able to take a vacation without our kids which was nice for a change.
Here we are at Darryl and Darice place! They are both amazing cooks and I think I gained over tens pounds in one week. =) (totally worth it though!!!)
We spent a day in D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Even though it was a cold day, raining off and on it was by far my fav day. There was so much to see in D.C. It was a little overwhelming. I could have spent all week just in D.C and still not have seen everything. There was a cool Robert Frank Photography gallery in one of the Smithsonian museums.

Here is the White House. This is about how close we could get. I wanted to see Obama and tell him that my Grandma is madly in love with him. I guess I'll just have to send him a letter.
