it WORKS

Craziest thing just happened.... I was just getting some stuff done in our office and I notice my vision board. (I blogged about it a few months ago-board I made of things I wanted to accomplish or obtain) Anyway, I noticed a small picture of a pair of nikes I had put on there (not thinking too much about it, I just needed new running shoes). I couldn't believe it of all the 1,000 different kinds of running shoes out there I happen to buy this exact same pair that were in the picture. Ahh, maybe I'm being a nerd.. but I thought that was a little crazy. Maybe I should start putting more stuff on my vision board like a new SLR camera, Italy trip, beach house, giant bag of kettle corn.... maybe I need a bigger board =)

FUN with Grandma & Grandpa

Ryan's parents were in town this last week and we such a great time together. I love how sweet they are with the girls. It breaks my heart that we don't live closer. I love hanging out with them and laughing about everything. They definitely spoiled us while they were here. We did so many fun things this last week. I'll try to add some of our photos. We went to the Tulip Festival, Children's Museum at The Gateway, Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point.

I'm sad now that they're gone and so are the girls. It's hard having so much fun and then waving good-bye. Hopefully we'll be headed to San Diego sometime soon! We love you GRANDMA & GRANDPA!

Isabel lost her first tooth

Izzy lost her first tooth last week! She has been so excited about the whole "tooth fairy" idea. So after Ryan pulled her tooth she went right to bed, and told everyone else that they had to go to sleep too so the tooth fairy could come. Ryan went to do the exchange (later that night).. and there was this long note from Izzy to the TF saying.. thanks for being so nice.. and thanks for what ever she would leave her (it was pretty cute) and then at the end it said please write back. umm I don't think that's part of her job, is it? anyway, I thought we better do something. so I wrote this note at 1:00 am and slipped it back under her pillow with some money. Little did I know she was going to show the note to EVERYONE.. She showed the whole school, her teacher read it to her class. She took it to church, to our big family dinner. cracked me up. I would have spent more time on it and actually spelled some of the words right if I knew the world was going to see it. =) anyway.. over all it was pretty hilarious.

8 YEARS TOGETHER

Our LOVE story...
We met the summer of 1997.We were good friends all summer, then he invited me and my roommate to go to Lake Powell for 3 days to hang out with his family. I guess you could say that was our first date.. and where we had our first kiss. I usually didn't kiss on the first day, but when it last 3 days I guess it's O.K. Lake Powell was where I feel in love with Ryan and his family. I had my mission call when I met Ryan and wanted to go, we weren't really serious so I left. We wrote a little while I was in Georgia. When I got back in 1999, he was in Mexico. He was teaching Spanish at BYU and took a group down there for the summer. When he got back in September we started dating again and we were engaged in December, married in April 2000!

Today is our 8th year anniversary! I couldn't have asked for a better husband and father for our girls. It's crazy to me that it has been that long and that we have 3 kids now. Where does the time go? Ryan is definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you.

Sophia's big day.....

We had lunch at Sophies favorite place the Brickoven with Heidi & Lins & my Mom. Then Grandma took Sophia to the magic land of Build a Bear and she picked out a rabbit she has not let go of it. We had a such a fun day. We had a friend party with 12 3 years (ahhh) and then later a family party with all the cousins. The sad part is that Sophia wasn't feeling so good. All she wanted to do was sleep. The next day I took her to the doctor and she had an ear infection in both her ears. Poor thing... Shes doing better now.

Easter Time

I hate that Easter was so early this year. Did anyone else feel like that? I mean it was a week after St. Patricks. I didn't even have time to put away all my green shamrocks & lepurcons to turn around and unload my boxes and boxes of easter decorations. I think it should be a rule that Easter has to at least be in April. (by the way the decoration part was a joke) Other then that Easter was really fun and the sun shined yahoo!
