So, I do this every year, tell myself I am not going to get stressed out with shopping and giving neighbor gifts and teacher gifts... and the perfect gift for everyone. But then I do it.. year after year. Thank goodness for the crazy weather it has been a constant blizzard at our house for the last 3 days. If you know me, you know there is nothing I hate more then driving in the snow. so, it's been nice to relax with my kids and take time to really think about Christmas and what it means to us. I love all the Christmas music that remind us of Jesuss birth.. his life & what he truly gave to us. And I also love how Christmas bring people together. There is such a wonderful feeling of love for everyone. I wish we could keep that feeling all year long.

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas full of love, hope & lots of JOY

Disneyland

Sophia, Grandma & Izzy
While we were in San Diego for Thanksgiving we got to go to Disneyland and a few other fun places. Here are a some pictures of the day we spent at Disneyland.

This was a first for all of us.. we got to canoe around adventure land. Poor Izzy got splashed so bad by someone sitting behind her. She was soaked.

Here we are waiting in line.. We had so much fun with Grandma!

We loved all the Christmas decorations

Sophie driving crazy around autopia.. ahhh

Sophia & Grandma on the teacups

Here we are in front of small world right before it started raining. yep, it started raining and didn't stop for the rest of the night, (there went our plans of staying until midnight). We tried to stay as long as we could, but gave up around 10:00pm.
Thanks Kathy for being such a FUN, FUN, FUN Grandma!
We love you and miss you terribly.

Thanksgiving in San Diego

I'm still swimming in mountains of laundry.. but I thought I would take a break to post a few pics from our CA trip. We had the BEST time. I probably say that after every visit to see Ryan's parents.. because we DO have the best time. It's always hard to leave and this time I would have been fine staying (don't tell my mom that) =) no really. The weather was amazing 70-80's in DECEMBER. We had a great Thanksgiving, we played a lot, we soaked up as much sunny weather as we could and caught up with all the family.
Here are a few pics...

Here we are eating lunch (Cameron, Quinn, Tyson, Alex & my bunch)
We later walked around Mission beach & went to the tide pools at La Jolla Shores.
Alex & Me being goofy

We watched a bunch of people try to surf
this huge rip curl wave machine.
Mission Beach. I love watching all the crazy, interesting people
I'll post more photos when I have more time..
Here are the girls on our last night there. I think they were pretty warn out. I'm surprised that my flash didn't wake them up.

Thanks Tim & Kathy!!! We miss you already!
