Now that summer is coming to a close, maybe I'll be a better blogger.. I'm hoping anyway.

Our family just got back from a fun vacation at our home away from home -SAN DIEGO. Ryan's family lives down there and we LOVE anytime we get to see them and enjoy paradise there.

We did so many fun things while we were there. We were there for almost two weeks so

to save you some time & boredom I'll just sharing some of our highlights. =)
Here we are at the San Diego Zoo. My girls love the zoo- especially with Grandma Kathy because she knows every last, little detail about EVERY animal. (i want to be you Kathy)

We got to spend a whole day at Magic Mtn. (while Kathy watched our kids)

We had soo much fun. It's been a while since I've rode all those huge, crazy roller coasters. We had the best time- until we went on a ride called "log jammers" that got us so wet.

My favorite part of the whole trip was just hanging out at Ryan's house with everyone. We loved playing around the world ping pong while Tyson played some good tunes. Happiness

Another fun day, we met up with our good friends the KANES.

We spent the day at the beach together. The girls had so much fun playing.. and I loved every minute catching up with Brooke. I miss her soooo much!

short trip to Vegas...

This past week I got to go stay with my twin sister in Vegas. Ryan had to go to scout camp, so I decided to take the girls to see their cousins. We had such a FUN time. Anytime we get together whether we're just hanging out & talking or chasing all the kids.. we have the BEST time.

I love every minute we get to spend together!

I though this place was soo pretty, it's close to Heidi's house.

One night we went to the strip and had dinner. We were laughing so hard because there was street dancer, all painted gold that gave me a huge hug... I wish I had a picture of it. Thanks Todd for watching the kids so we could have such a fun night!

I think it's pretty bizarre that she has 3 boys and I have 3 girls.. we need to switch things around because I want a boy so bad.. specially this one!

Vegas has the best parks. I'm not kidding, this one was huge with water toys and everything. The kids had so much fun. After we went swimming at the YMCA.

I can't believe how lame I've been at blogging as of late. This summer has already been crazy busy. I'll try to blog more so I don't forget any of fun times our family is having.

CAMPING!!!!

Over Memorial day weekend we went camping up American Fork Canyon with some family and friends. We had the best time, except it rained on us. I think the girls are getting pretty use to rain while camping combination, it has happened the last 3-4 times we have camped. =)

Isabel started soccer this spring and she loved every minute of it. She had a great coach and I think that made all the difference. We now have her signed up for fall & spring of next year!

Go IZzY!!!

Sophie graduated from preschool in May. She was so hilarious about her "high school musical outfit/grad. gown" She thought it was pretty great she got to have a day to say good bye to her little school, teacher and friends.

Ft. Lauderdale

Ryan and I went to Florida this past week. Ryan had a leadership training and I got to lay in the sun and read, read, read. =) I was blown away with how beautiful it was there! I loved our hotel (the W) We stayed right on the beach. yeah, for Ryan's work, it's nice to tag along on these fun trips and spend some quality time with Ryan.

We would have lunch together and then Ryan would go back to his meetings and I would go back to the beach. It wasn't fair but I wasn't complaining.

Meet MILO

Our family got a new puppy last week!!! Meet Milo! He's a pug, 4 months old. A friend of mine couldn't keep him because her kids were allergic. So,.. We decided to try him out for a week to see how he'd fit in our family. I'm really surprised at how sweet he's been. He's kennel trained, doesn't bark, loves our kids.. (especially Sophie) & super, super mellow. He stays in our garage and in the back yard. The girls are in heaven. Sophie loves carring him around everywhere she goes. I never even thought about getting a dog, but so far he has been great for our family!

Girls Trip 2009

This last weekend I was able to go to St George, Ut with my sisters, mom, cousin Amanda and Aunt Cindy for our annual "girls get away". It was much needed and such nice break. Thanks Ryan for being such a great Hubby and Father. It nice to know the girls are having a great time.. and not missing me a bit. (They love the time to do all the daddy-daughter stuff.)

Here are a few photos.. I didn't take a lot for some reason. But I can't say enough about my family. I love getting away and laughing my head off over really silly, meaningless stuff. I feel like I get back to "myself" a little bit when were together and I don't have to worry about what my kids are doing 24/7. My sisters mean the world to me and it's so nice to have them in my life.
