sadness....

I'm a little sad lately because my photography class has come to an end. It has been such a fun break and something I really looked forward to every week. Here are some of the photos I took for my final critique. I still need a ton of practice and feel like there is so much more that I still don't know. The basics that I have learned help me realize that I LOVE taking photos and watching them come to life. These were taken up Provo Canyon on our class field trip.

Does anyone else feel weird about this election?

When I went to vote this morning I got this uneasy/yucky feeling. I don't like either one of these candidates. I don't totally agree with one or the other. It's crazy to me that one of them is going to be running our country in a few short months.

I put my vote in.. I guess that's all I can do besides pray for our country.

Halloween 2008

Here is our annual Hancock Family Halloween Party.

I love this party because everyone keeps their costume a surprise until we get there.. I couldn't stop laughing all night. Ryan is the Dwight bobble head in the back. ha ha ha

Matt & Linz announced they were expecting their 3rd baby!!! We all screamed for about 5 minutes straight.. ahhhh We are all so excited for them.

Here are a few pics of last night.. while Saltair was very disappointing(it looked quit different then the before mentioned/posted pictures).... Ray on the other hand was amazing. He sounded so great live (I think that says a lot about an artist, when they sound better live then any album they've put out. It was such a fab night.

I'm sooo excited!!!

Saltair is a very old historical building in Salt Lake. It was first built in 1893 and since has been rebuilt 3 times because of fire/weather damage.
I love looking at all the old pictures of this place. What a cool structure.

The more I learn about my camera the more overwhelmed I'm getting.. But it's been such a great creative outlet. I feel like I'm balancing out my life a little more by spending time doing something I really like & want to do.. Here are a few pics of the girls. I found this amazing antique/junk yard that I'm crazy about... I love all the worn out treasures and cool back drops

Flash Back Friday ahhh

I feel like I don't blog about Ryan enough... (usually I'm posting about the girls..) so here are a few pictures of him hiking around Zions with his brother-in-laws. Ryan does this crazy hike once a year where he hikes Mt. Timp. & Mt. Nebo in the same day.. it has become a family tradition.. (and I think it's insane..) but he loves it....
