HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! I love you! You've been the greatest father ever! I love that even though you were stuck with a house full of girls you still taught us how to ride motorcycles, camp, shoot guns and hike every mountain in sight. I have so many great childhood memories of you taking us on all kinds of crazy adventures! Speaking of which when do I get to go for a ride on your new Harley? I think it's my turn.

yeah we did it!!!

Yesterday Ryan, Elliott, Matt, Lindsay & I ran the Hobble Creek 1/2 marathon. I'm still on a high... I can't believe I did it! Ryan was so amazing, I couldn't have asked for a better running partner =). I couldn't have done it without him. It was so fun seeing my family cheering at the finish line. I think that was my favorite part.

One last camping trip before we say goodbye to summer

This trip we went up American Fork Canyon. It was so beautiful with all the huge mountains around us. It also rained ALL NIGHT. We had so much fun huddling around the camp fire trying to stay warm.

The only bad things is that we were all covered in mud.

We really did have a great time. My girls are such good sports. They pretty much smile through anything (thank goodness). I can't believe summer is coming to an end. I'm not ready yet...

after all the waiting.....

finally... after months and months of wishing, hoping, begging on my knees... I finally got a new camera! Canon's new rebel XS!!! yahoo. I'm also signed up for a photography class through the local college here.. so maybe I'll learn a thing or two about how to run this beauty... wish me luck. If some of my pictures turn out I'll be sure and post them on here.. (it may take a few months) =)

This last week our good friends Jason and Nicole invited us to a backyard concert. We had the BEST time. Ben Robie and Kalai performed and it so AMAZING. I was in heaven the whole night. Heidi has been here all week with her boys and we've been going crazy packing our day with fun memories. I love when she comes to visit. I have some more pictures of our week together, but I left my camera at my mom so I'll have to add them later (sorry Heidi, I stole these pics from your blog) We missed you Nicole!!!

so you think you can dance

I'm loving it! I'm also sad that is it coming to an end. My favorite dancer is still Twitch. I think there are other dancers with more training and better technique, but I love his personality. I really want to go to the concert when it comes. I think it's Sept. 23rd. Tickets are $35.00. Anyone wanna go? It's at the E-center 7:30. Let me know.. (Am I acting like I'm 15?) Anyway.. I thought that would be fun to go with a bunch of friends so let me know and I'll get all the tickets together.

Little Women

We had a fun GIRLS NIGHT OUT the other night. Our good friends and neighbors the Kanes bought tickets to Little Women for Izzy's birthday. We had a such a FUN night. The production was put on by Hale Center Theater and they did a super good job. We loved it!!!
